Malabrigo Rios

RIOS is a multipurpose yarn. Incredibly soft for all your garments and machine washable!

Spun from the finest merino wool, this yarn comes from sheep bred for generations by ranchers in the northern part of Uruguay, where the ideal climate for this breed is found.

Rios means "river" in Spanish. Malabrigo Rios is named after the four major rivers in Uruguay. Each river is represented by one ply. These plies twist together like winding rivers. Rios also signifies the yarn's washability.
